The product team is aware of this issue, and they are working on a fix. They also said that a fix is underway but did not share any ETA on when it will be patched. Hi, when InDesign gives me a hint, that my document has typ1 fonts and I go to my font searching tool (sorry, I´m German, don´t know exactly, how this is called right) and there is announced a “0” with the type 1 font, how/where do I find then what of the fonts is the type 1 font in my document so I could exchange it? Would be great if someone here has a hint for me, thanks a lot, SteffiĪs it turns out, Adobe is aware of the issue where InDesign OpenType font is being misinterpreted as PostScript Type 1. Today when I open my document, it still says I have some Type 1 in the blue line but when I look at the find/change font window it says 0! I’m on Big Sur and my collegue on Catalina and we both have the same problem on various document. Worked on the file and by the end of the day closed it and gone home. In the find / change type window it was saying I had none left.

I changed them all to a Opentype equivalent. I had the famous blue line warning me I had Type 1 font. Hi everybody! I have a problem that’s a bit unerving. Many are now wondering if this is an intentional change or a bug. It is interesting to note that Adobe recently announced that all PostScript Type 1 fonts will be obsolete starting next year.Īs a result, in the Find Font window, the OpenType font documents are getting a warning that the PostScript Type 1 should have. Having said that, Adobe InDesign users are now reporting another issue where the OpenType font is getting marked as PostScript Type 1 font. And as is the case with every software application, users recently reported an issue where the text was disappearing when typing in the text box. It is used by professionals worldwide to create flyers, posters, and magazines.Ĭurrently, the software has more than 51,000 members spread across 36 countries. Successor to Adobe PageMaker and Developed by Adobe Inc., Adobe InDesign is one of the few desktop publishing and page layout software.
